Our client a regional affordable housing organisation, require a Technical Manager to join there expanding Construction team.
The Technical Manager will support the Head of Technical in delivering the functions in support of Development / Land and Planning Teams to help meet the new business delivery targets for S106, Land-Led and mix tenure opportunities. You will work in collaboration with Consultants, Technical and colleagues to identify and mitigate technical, procurement, commercial, statutory, build risks and inefficiencies
In the role you will ensure that the Company's development brief, designs, specifications, and relevant information, are executed and specified with due regard to cost, quality, time and overall viability, by design Consultants and Contractors, so that the Company's objectives are fully met.
You will also be responsible for all technical due-diligence functions on land appraisals, proposing compliant and cost-effective solutions.
You will be required to take a commercially focused approach through design, procurement and delivery of a new house and apartment portfolio, incorporating modern methods of construction and embrace the Net Zero Carbon challenge, whilst also supporting the Project Manager, Regional Development Managers and Technical Assistants, pro-actively helping to implement site Quality Control standards
