EnVision Consultants Ltd. is looking for an experienced, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Infrastructure team as a Director. Ideal candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities and demonstrate the capacity to effectively manage internal and external relationships.
As a Director, you will lead and build our Municipal Engineering team, reporting directly to the EVP of Infrastructure. You will deal directly with clients and approval authorities throughout Ontario.

As part of your role, you may expect to be involved in:
1. Developing and implementing business development strategies, including coordination with other internal business lines.
2. Managing and delivering municipal projects including report and proposal writing, business development, client liaison, and project management.
3. Monitoring and managing overall workload and staffing levels within the department.
4. Working with Leaders and other Managers to support inter-office collaboration and resource/work sharing to balance workloads and meet project delivery objectives.
5. Being accountable for the overall financial and operational performance of the department under your direction.
6. Being responsible for overall resource management, including recruitment, staff development, performance management, and salary review process.
7. Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment.
8. Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs.
9. Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects.
10. Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed.
11. Any other functions assigned as part of your employment.
To apply to this position, you should expect to have:
1. Degree in Engineering with 10+ years of consulting and/or municipal experience.
2. At least 5 years of managing and mentoring technical staff.
3. Registered as a P.Eng. in Ontario.
4. Strong knowledge of the GTA and surrounding regional municipal clients and markets.
5. Municipal Engineering design and construction experience is essential with specific experience related to water, sanitary, and stormwater projects.
6. Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills.
7. Comfortable interacting with public agencies, clients, contractors, and co-workers.
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues.
10. A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance.
