Do you believe that you have the drive and dedication to ensure that all the children have the very best educational experience? The Mosaic Partnership Trust wish to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who will provide this for our children at Gillingstool Primary School.
The role will require the applicant to provide learning and emotional support for an assigned EHCP pupil currently in Y4 for 12.5 hours per week.
Applicants must be flexible, supportive, able to use their own initiative and to liaise closely with other staff.
We are looking for someone who has:
• High expectations of all children and themselves
• A commitment to improving outcomes for children
• A positive attitude and a flexible and enthusiastic approach to their work
• Relevant professional qualification/s would be an advantage
• Previous experience of working with children with SEND is essential
The following would be desirable:-
- Previous experience of supporting children with Social and Emotional needs
- Knowledge of the national curriculum
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Knowledge of ADHD and strategies to support children with emotional regulation

This post will involve working alongside the class teacher to deliver an adapted curriculum. There will also be an element of individual and group support, both within and outside of the classroom, to enable the pupil to learn effectively. The successful candidates will need to be proactive in championing the needs of the child and take a lead role in the delivery of tailored learning.
