Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning: Forecast material requirements based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and historical data.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or excesses, and maintain optimal stock to meet production demands.
Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiate contracts, and resolve any quality or delivery issues.
Order Management: Prepare and process purchase orders, track shipments, and ensure accurate inventory records.
Production Support: Work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimise material flow and ensure smooth operations.
Data Analysis: Analyse inventory performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement effective strategies.
Communication & Collaboration: Foster effective communication with internal and external stakeholders for timely information flow.
