About the Job This role will be a central point for all content work published externally across diverse platforms and will oversee editorial workflows and quality assurance processes of all content presented on the organization’s various channels. The Copywriter will work to create written content in line with audiences and strategy reporting directly to the Senior Manager for External Communications. This role works closely with key stakeholders within the organization, to deliver relevant and engaging content, and achieve the organization’s business goals for growth development and retention. Key Responsibilities Copy Writes copy for projects as assigned, including projects related to communications, print, publications, video scripts, and websites. Writing clear, consistent and error-free content guarding the organizational narrative that reflects the IBs’ mission. interprets creative direction and technical information to effectively create them into persuasive copy concepts based on regional data for targeted outreach in 162 countries. Content Manages and produces content tailored to a range of geographically and technologically diverse channels and audiences. Leverage business development experience to create targeted and persuasive messaging for a wide range of stakeholder audiences and global contexts. Works closely with Marketing to ensure brand consistency in web content and online campaigns and the work produced in line with marketing’s strategy. Work cross-departmentally on project management, correspondence and reporting to ensure organizational consistency. Brand Governance Ensures a consistent tone of voice and key themes across all externally facing content. Ensures copy design and messaging is on brand and guidelines are adhered to. Create content which adheres to accessibility guidelines including school-based outreach for quotations, story pitching and relationship building. Represent the organisation internally and externally to build brand awareness and promote reputational management through key messaging that is persuasive and targeted across a range of stakeholder audiences. Project Management Ensures organization-wide projects are handled successfully, and organized to involve and leverage relevant internal stakeholders. Ensures consistency in process and attention to detail across various team stakeholders. About You Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Psychology, or Communications. Proven expertise in web and digital editorial work, including a strong background in crafting thought leadership articles and producing engaging digital content. A proactive and self-driven work style, with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience liaising and working directly with multiple stakeholders within a large organisation, internally and externally Fluency in English. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an advantage. Experience working on multilingual channels is an advantage.
