Your Key Responsibilities: Deliver and develop a curriculum that meets the educational, physical, and social needs of students. Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Plan and implement short, medium, and long-term lesson plans. Set, monitor, and review personalised learning targets. Assess and report on student progress to parents, team members, senior staff, and relevant bodies. Reflect on and develop lesson plans to enhance educational outcomes. Contribute to the review of Statements, EHC plans, PEP, and LAC reviews. Structure lessons to maintain engagement, motivation, and challenge. Stay informed about current issues in autism to plan effective teaching strategies. Address individual needs with a non-confrontational approach. Requirements: PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification. Ability to teach English up to GCSE level. Experience working with pupils with ASD, SEMH, and PDA profiles. Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures. Experience managing a range of behavioural approaches, including challenging behaviours.
