Description Reporting to the Safety & Assurance Lead, the Safety, Sustainability & Wellbeing (SSW) Manager will manage health & safety, sustainability, and wellbeing for HEx operations and employees. They will assist with third-party safety and assurance matters, including Great Western Railway. The SSW Manager will produce monthly reports for HEx and Heathrow Senior Leadership Teams. They will collaborate with all levels of the HEx organization, HAL, GWR, and key partners. Click to view JD Responsibilities Ensuring HEx standards for Fire, Health, Safety, Sustainability & Wellbeing are in place, maintained and reviewed in line with requirements and that the business remains compliant with them. Supporting and enable collaborative working between all business areas and develop and grow stakeholder relationships with the wider HAL teams and with external bodies (e.g. Fire Health Safety, Wellbeing & Sustainability, GWR, Network Rail, RSSB etc). Leading the wellbeing agenda, owning the strategy for wellbeing management across Heathrow Express and working with internal colleagues and HAL partners to ensure the best value is extracted from wellbeing initiatives across the wider Customer team and Airport to support our colleagues. Supporting in the delivery of effective fire, health, safety, sustainability and wellbeing governance and represent the Safety & Assurance Lead at an internal and external level where required. Support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to understand and undertake management safety tours, making good use of the insights captured. Managing the promotion of a positive safety culture. Influence and coach colleagues to become effective safety leaders. Qualifications A passion for health & safety, wellbeing and sustainability issues. Strong verbal and written communicating and influencing skills – dealing with all levels of an organisation from frontline colleague to the board. Confidence to challenge as appropriate. Experience with writing board level reports, policies, and procedures. Experience of managing a complex multi-stakeholder environment. Good understanding of continuous improvement processes or project management processes. Holding or working towards a safety qualification such as NEBOSH certificate or equivalent. Holding or working towards AIEMA certificate or equivalent LI-Hybrid
