We’re looking for a motivating store manager to join Isabel Hospice's trading team in our charity shop in the Galleria, Hatfield. This role requires working only on Sundays, with a shift lasting 6 hours and 15 minutes each week. Each of our shops has its own unique style and you will be responsible for maintaining our high quality reputation in the community. What will I be doing? Maintaining a high standard of display, presentation and cleanliness throughout the shop Leading by example by providing excellent customer care Maximising sales and profits for the shop and achieving the main objectives of the role Guiding, inspiring and engaging a team of paid staff and volunteers Meeting gift aid conversion rates from people donating goods What skills are you looking for? Retail management experience An interest in and / or experience of working with sustainable fashion Experience of managing and inspiring a diverse team of people Excellent organisational skills Understanding, respect and consideration for others at all times A good knowledge of email, MS Office and the internet A ‘can do’ approach to work Someone who communicates well, both verbally and in writing And ideally experience of working within charity retail What are the benefits?
