I am looking for a Sales Manager/ Business Development Manager/ Technical Sales Manager to join my client, a long-established machine tool supplier. This is a remote role with regular travel to clients and the occasional need to travel to the office in Hampshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation and development of all new and existing business, focusing on developing the educational and industrial customer base. A proven track record of selling into schools, colleges, and universities is essential.
The Package:
* £40,000-£50,000 DOE plus performance related bonus

Responsibilities:
* Achieve and exceed sales targets as set by the board
* Deliver gross profit objectives
* Provide sales forecasts
* Create a business development plan to generate further sales with education and industrial clients
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry and products sold
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience in technical sales
* Proven background selling into education and an industrial client base
* 'Hunter mentality,' self-motivated and highly driven in nature
* Work with the marketing team to generate sales leads and convert into business
