Overview: The RTW Graduate Design Assistant will work with our Design team to realise and bring to life the Creative Director’s vision across our RTW product lines, both seasonal and iconic products. From design and sample creation to product development, you will support throughout the entire design process. This is a full time role, based in our London HQ for 5 days per week on 12-month fixed term contract. Your Mission: • Supporting the design and development of merchandise across all collections. • Research of general trends, inspiration as well as details and materials. • Presentation of trends to Design team with first sketches covering various product lines • Development of sketches from inspirational through to technical drawings • Development of prototypes. • Preparing specs and managing deliveries and deadlines • Mood board creation and research for season direction • Supporting with the day to day upkeep and set up of the studio • Supporting with the organisation and management of sample and archive pieces Your Talent: • Strong hand drawing and sketching ability • Confident in hand and machine sewing, sample making experience beneficial • Strong communication skills • Highly organised and strong time management skills • Ability to understand creative direction and concepts • Strong understanding of the brand ethos and values • Ability to multi-task and work effectively on several projects simultaneously • A team player, supporting and collaborating with other team members • Creative thinker, with the ability to think outside the box and an eye for detail Systems and Essentials: • Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator • Italian speaking would be beneficial but not essential Reward Our philosophy is to go beyond monetary return and consider ourselves responsible for your wellbeing, your family, your health, your time and the community.
