Key Responsibilities : As the HR Manager, youll be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, from developing value-added HR strategies to managing day-to-day administration. Your role will include: Developing and implementing creative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including creating job specs, adverts, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. Managing the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience for new employees and people managers. Leading the HR and Health & Safety Induction, ensuring compliance with company standards and legislation. Providing HR guidance and coaching to line managers on policies, procedures, and employment law, while keeping policies updated in line with legal requirements and business needs. Overseeing employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, performance, and absence management. Acting as a trusted advisor to people managers, offering pragmatic HR advice and challenging the status quo when necessary. Identifying training and development needs through performance reviews and sourcing external training when required. Supporting change management projects from consultation to execution, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with best practice and legislation. Monitoring HR trends across the business and reporting key metrics such as absence and retention to stakeholders. Keeping up-to-date with GDPR and industry trends on pay, rewards, and benefits, making relevant recommendations to keep the company competitive. Skills and Experience : 3-5 years of HR generalist experience is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization Strong leadership skills to support and motivate the HR team Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management A solid understanding of employment law principles The ability to stay calm under pressure and handle confidential matters with integrity Experience supporting managers through organizational change Qualifications : Degree-level education or equivalent Recognized HR qualification (minimum CIPD Level 5) If youre a proactive HR Manager with a passion for making a difference, wed love to hear from you.
