Job Title: LV/HV Connections Manager
Depot: Podington, Northamptonshire
You will be primarily based in the Podington depot with national ‘Site-based’ requirements depending on our scheme.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for overseeing the electrical works on Distribution Network Operators networks (DNO). As we are a selected contractor to work directly on the (DNO) network, you will have direct responsibility for the safety, quality, and technical standard of work performed by all staff under your supervision.
Your main responsibilities:
* Ensuring all projects are completed to the correct standard and delivered on time
* Carrying out risk assessments and maintaining safe working practices
* Demonstrating appropriate knowledge and experience of the inspection, testing, certification, and reporting procedures for works
* Training and supporting people in your team to ensure they are well equipped to perform their roles
* Providing coaching and identifying training needs to ensure all team members are well skilled and compliant
* Reporting all incidents, accidents, and near misses in line with Health & Safety protocol
* Completing weekly timesheets
* Improving processes to ensure efficiency
* Recording accurately details of work undertaken

Candidate profile:
The LV/HV Connections Manager will be qualified in one of the below:
* DNO Authorisation/Competency Certificate for a minimum of five years
* Experience with NERS and Jointing, in LV and HV
* Experience working with Electrical Networks with an understanding of ICP standards and qualities
* NRSWA Supervisors qualification
Essential Experience/Qualifications:
* Experienced in working with DNO’s/ICP/IDNO
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages and databases
* A strong communicator and able to build strong relationships with people at all levels
* A good team leader
* Health and safety conscious
