Location
Our office is situated in Trafford Park, Manchester, with ample free onsite parking, it is easily accessible by motorway, bus, and tram. Our team works together in two units totaling 65,000 square feet, which helps us communicate and collaborate effectively.
The Role: Sales Manager
We’re looking for a Sales Manager to lead and motivate our sales teams, both in the office and out in the field. Reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll play a key role in helping our business grow by making sure our sales teams are on track and performing well. This is your chance to make a real impact on our company’s future.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and Coach:
Support and motivate the sales teams, helping them improve their skills and meet their goals. Ensure high standards are met and maintained.
* Team Structure:
Review and adjust the sales team setup as needed to keep up with business needs.
* Training and Development:
Develop and implement training plans with clear targets. Continuously review performance and provide coaching and recognition.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to ensure everyone is working towards the same sales goals.
* Sales Support:
Help the sales team with generating new business and keeping customers happy. Offer support with proposals, quotes, and resolving any issues.
* Process Adherence:
Ensure the team follows the sales process, manages the pipeline effectively, and provides accurate sales forecasts.
* Strategy Contribution:
Participate in leadership meetings, share customer feedback, and suggest ways to improve sales effectiveness.
* Customer Engagement:
Engage with key customers to understand their needs, find growth opportunities, and improve service.
* Work Environment Management:
Manage workloads and deadlines, whether in the office or remotely, ensuring clear communication and tracking performance.

* Proven ability to improve sales team performance.
* Strong skills in managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and using CRM systems.

Qualifications
* Degree-level education or at least 5 years of relevant sales management experience.
