Job Title: Classroom Teacher

GSL Education is currently partnering with a primary school in Wimborne, to seek a dynamic and dedicated full-time Classroom teacher.
The school promotes values such as respect, collaboration and aspiration to its students. The school recognises the value and uniqueness of each individual child and adult alike. They are well known in the local community for the children’s behaviour and their enthusiasm, to the staff’s ongoing commitment and dedication. While the school primarily caters to mainstream education, you may be called upon to cover for necessary classrooms and provide support to students with Special Education Needs on a 1:1 or small group basis. Therefore, any prior experience or knowledge of SEN is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree/Master’s Degree
* Teaching Certification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE)
* Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
* Previous experience of working in a primary school is preferred, not mandatory.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education
* Ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
* Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
* Create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves and take risks
* Teach Key Stage 1 students effectively.
