The Opportunity:
As our Marketing & Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our efforts to drive growth and increase our market presence. Here’s how:
1. Lead the Marketing Strategy: You’ll own the local marketing strategy for our Tunbridge Wells and Flimwell agencies, ensuring all activities align with our business objectives and brand values.
2. Manage Business Development Executives: You’ll lead and mentor a team of business development executives, guiding their efforts to generate new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
3. Collaborate with Experts: You’ll have access to additional support from NFU Mutual's central marketing team, while also bringing your own creative vision and leadership to life. We also work with external marketing consultants.
4. Drive Business Growth: Proactively identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, positioning our products as the top choice in the market.
5. Stay Compliant: Ensure all activities are conducted within a regulated environment and in line with NFU Mutual's brand guidelines, adhering to FCA requirements and maintaining a customer-first approach.
What You’ll Bring:
1. A proven track record in marketing, with at least 2 years of experience.
2. Experience in leading and managing a team, with a focus on business development and growth.
3. Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is a plus but not essential.
4. Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to execute campaigns that resonate with local communities.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
6. Experience in managing social media campaigns and overseeing digital marketing efforts.
7. A full driving license and access to your own car.
