Operations Admin Assistant
We are recruiting for an Aviation Company based at Biggin Hill Airport, looking to expand their Operations Department to support the growing business needs within a fast-paced and exciting industry. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational flying programme and coordinating with various departments to ensure the safe and efficient operation of flights, while providing excellent service to customers.
This role will involve proactively planning helicopter flights across the UK and Central Europe for both new and existing clients. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Operations and work within a dynamic team to deliver high standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage the daily flying programme, building schedules and actively flight following.
* Flight planning in accordance with the company’s operations manual, procedures, and regulations, including crew management within the FTL scheme.
* Coordinate with the CAMO and Maintenance departments regarding scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements.
* Manage handling, permits, and third-party services related to existing and future flights.
* Implement and evaluate the company’s Emergency Response Plan.
* Continuously improve personal, technical, and company knowledge by liaising with colleagues, managers, and external professionals.
* Other duties as assigned by the Head of Operations.
Education & Experience:
* Experience in an aviation operations environment is desirable but not essential.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience in scheduling or an operational coordinator role is advantageous.

* Ability to plan and prioritise workloads with meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* High level of professionalism with the ability to interact with diverse clientele.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Legal ability to work in the UK.
