Apply now to join our Orthopaedic Therapy Team and make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery and rehabilitation Previous applicants need not apply Main duties of the job As a Therapy Assistant Practitioner, you will: Undertake assessments and treatments for non-complex orthopaedic patients, carrying your own caseload under supervision. Devise and implement treatment programmes, enabling patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support timely patient discharge. Conduct home visits to assess discharge needs and provide necessary equipment. Mentor and train Band 2 and 3 therapy assistants and support therapy students. Participate in the provision of 7-day therapy services as required. This role will involve working across both Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital, providing inpatient therapy services for elective and trauma orthopaedic patients.
