This is an excellent opportunity to join the Business Information Technology Office as a Senior Developer. We offer a highly interesting and innovative IT project environment. Our team is proud to have won an award for developing the bespoke digital voting application which enabled hybrid parliamentary business to continue during the pandemic. This enabled the transformation of the voting system for MSPs vote.
Last year we grew our Applications Team to 28 people and were looking to expand our capability and capacity to further support the organisation to achieve its strategic aims.
As a Senior Developer you will be leading the design and development of web applications with these technologies: C# (.NET Core & .NET Framework), Azure, SQL Development (including Entity Framework) and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
Youll be leading the design and development of software solutions and services. Your work will help the Parliament examine what the Scottish Government is doing, make new laws on devolved matters and debate the issues of the day.
