We are looking for someone to become a member of our Senior Pharmacy Assistant Team, where you will provide support in delivering a high quality service to all Pharmacy customers.
This position would suit someone with a keen eye for detail and who is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including other healthcare professionals and members of the public. You will be a good team player, enthusiastic and proactive with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Main duties of the job
Working in the pharmacy at Queens Hospital, Burton.
* Dispensing inpatient and outpatient prescriptions and discharge medication.
* Meeting and greeting people at the reception hatch and accepting outpatient prescriptions and taking prescription charges.
* Completing ward top ups and expiry dating.
* You will be required to complete a GPhC-approved Level 2 Pharmacy course.

Qualifications and Training
* English and Maths GCSE Grade 4 or equivalent
* NVQ L2 in Pharmacy
Knowledge
* Knowledge of pharmacy services
Experience
* Works as part of a team
* Proven experience of working in a customer facing role
* Hospital Experience
