We are seeking a Hydraulic Modeller to join a growing Water and Wastewater Team based in Derby. Requirements:
* Understanding of the Irish and UK water industries, with a focus on environmental sustainability.
* Demonstrable experience in wastewater modeling using InfoWorks ICM.
* Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and develop technical skills.
* Working towards a professional qualification in a related field.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and analyse hydraulic models to investigate flooding and environmental issues.
* Contribute to the design of drainage systems, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), and other surface water management solutions.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide water and wastewater infrastructure services.
* Prepare and present technical reports and project deliverables to clients and stakeholders.
* Support survey planning and supervision to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
* Assist in developing innovative and sustainable solutions for complex environmental challenges.
* Participate in the continuous improvement of technical standards and practices within the team.
