We are seeking amotivated andcompassionateClinicalHealthPsychologist– Long Term Conditionsto join our team,for12 months,from December 2024. This is afull-timerole either as asecondment orfixed term contractopportunity.Part time or job share requests will be considered.
Youwillmanage a clinical caseload,supported by thePrincipalPsychologist,as part of themultidisciplinary team withinthePain Service at Royal Berkshire Hospital and the ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.
Thisexcitingpostis jointly commissioned by Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust and Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust.
• Advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care to other clinical members of the teams providing psychologically and physically based care and treatment.
• Line management and clinical supervision to unqualified psychologists working within the team

The “must haves” for this role:
• Doctoral qualification in clinical or counselling psychology.
• Experience of specialist assessment and formulation and treatment of adults in inpatient and/ or community physical health settings.
• Relevant experience of working with long term pain conditions.
• A background of liaising with clinical and management colleagues around service improvement in a relevant area.
• HCPC registration
