We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our secondary schools in Southend-on-Sea on a full-time basis. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who face behavioural challenges, helping them to manage and overcome barriers to their learning. The successful Behaviour Mentor will work closely with students, teachers, and support staff to create positive learning environments and implement behaviour strategies that promote engagement and success.
Key responsibilities of the Behaviour Mentor include:
* Supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, helping them develop strategies for managing their behaviour.
* Working alongside classroom teachers to create tailored support plans for individual students.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students stay on track with their academic goals.
* Building strong relationships with students to understand the root causes of their behavioural challenges.
* Collaborating with the pastoral team to monitor and report on students' progress.
