Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer - Nights to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer - Nights who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Electrical Engineer - Nights, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
Responsibilities:
1. Reactive repairs - replacing sockets, light fittings, re-lamping, fault finding to name a few.
2. Electrical safety checks.
3. Annual visual inspections of DB's.
4. Emergency lighting checks.
5. Hand dryer inspections.
6. Central battery unit visual inspections.
7. UPS monthly checks.
8. Able to work to high levels of health and safety, with an understanding of building statutory requirements.
9. Ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
Minimum Requirements:
1. The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar, and be qualified to either Level 3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 18th edition.
2. Hold a full, current, driving licence.
3. Be IT literate for record keeping, with good customer service skills.
4. Be physically able to carry out the full duties detailed in the job description.
