As a finance ledger clerk at Cennox, you will contribute to the organisation's overall success by managing all tasks related to the purchase and sales ledger. By assisting the Finance Director you will also be working closely with management accountants and divisional line managers. This role is responsible for raising invoices, posting receipts and payments, and carrying out a range of responsibilities which include some of the following: Matching and checking of purchase invoices Processing internal expenses Setting up of supplier accounts Reconciliation of statements and resolution of differences Dealing with credit card statements Processing all remittances received and reconciling Raising sales invoices Investigating customer credit balances and chasing overdue payments Filing invoices and data entry Be the first point of contact for all inquiries To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high level of purchase and account receivable knowledge, having come from a similar background. You should also have previous collections/credit control experience and a good working knowledge of MS Office and, preferably, Navision ERP systems. Do you have a recognised bookkeeping, credit control or finance qualification, or are you qualified by experience? You will also need strong numerical and analytical skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritise your workload.
