Job summary An exciting opportunity had arisen for an experienced nurse to join the Plastics team as a Retroperitoneal Sarcoma Nurse Specialist, at the City Campus of the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This opportunity involves working closely with the medical and nursing teams to develop a brand new service. You will be supported to achieve a set of competencies specific to the role. Main duties of the job To act as keyworker for patients with Sarcoma offering an accessible and visible point of contact. Provide verbal written information and advice to Sarcoma patients and their families. Use of evidence based specialist practice and knowledge in the care of Retroperitoneal Sarcoma patients. Actively contribute in implementing management plans, advice and support for people with Retroperitoneal Sarcoma and their families and carers.
