Purpose of Role
We are recruiting for an Assistant Facilities Manager to provide operational facilities support at RAF Northolt in Ruislip.
Job Description
The Assistant Facilities Manager will be responsible for supporting the Facilities Manager with the delivery of Hard and Soft service streams and effectively coordinating all operational administration. Their main responsibility would be to manage the PPM programme and therefore require a background in facilities administration or helpdesk/planning. Additional responsibilities would be daily engagement with our sub-contracted teams, supporting the helpdesk, interacting with engineers/contractors, HSE site walks and data reporting to prove compliance against contracted SLA/KPIs.
This is a development position which supports our leadership team and helps improve our efficiency of delivery. It’s a great opportunity for someone with previous facilities/PPM knowledge to develop their skillset towards becoming a future Facilities Manager.

Essential Qualifications/Skills
1. A good understanding of facilities management – hard services.
2. An understanding of how to manage a PPM programme.
3. Eagerness to develop their skills.
4. Adept client-partnering skills.
5. Familiarisation with Maximo CAFM (or similar) would be beneficial.
6. Proven IT skills (Outlook and basic data management).
