Role Responsibilities
1. Lead & Mentor: Inspire and guide a diverse team across all departments.
2. Strategic Execution: Collaborate with Directors to translate business strategy into actionable initiatives.
3. Operational Excellence: Oversee recruitment, training, and the development of team members while fostering a collaborative environment.
4. Performance Monitoring: Identify areas for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
5. Budget Management: Develop and control operational budgets to maximise profitability.
6. Client Relations: Cultivate strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and understanding client needs.
7. Industry Representation: Represent the company at events, ensuring the vision and capabilities are communicated effectively.
The Essentials:
1. Proven Experience: In operations management, ideally within a design or creative environment.
2. Leadership Skills: Outstanding communication and people management abilities.
3. Process Implementation: Experience in creating systems that drive productivity and profitability.
4. Decision-Making: Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.
5. Organisational Talent: Excellent time management and organisational skills.
6. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office, Xero, and stock/warehouse management systems is a plus.
A passion for design and knowledge of industry regulations is beneficial.
