Description
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the UK owned social channels, crafting a compelling social content calendar and being the voice of the UK social community.
Key Responsibilities
Community
* Monitor the ELEMIS UK social media channels with a focus on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and engage with the ELEMIS community, ensuring that all queries are responded to by the Customer Care team in an appropriate and timely manner. Be the voice of the community, sharing insights across the wider team.
* Ensure the customer experience across all social media touchpoints for the UK community are best in class, ensuring the community is interacted with on a daily basis to build advocacy.
* Collaborate with the Influencer team on the day-to-day running of the ELEMIS Skinsiders community, approving content and setting tasks.
Social Content
* Work collaboratively with Head of Social Content, and the entire marketing team to develop brand, campaign and product social strategies.
* Manage the daily social content calendar across the key channels, ensuring this reflects the UK omnichannel experience and amplifies the brand, in order to hit KPIs and support business objectives.
* Lead the UK social strategy with a focus on Instagram and TikTok, including social commerce opportunities, alongside the wider e-commerce and digital marketing teams.
* Execute social media content ideas, collaborating with the in-house Creative team, external agencies, content creators or producing content directly, in order to fulfil requirements for owned social content, including attending events and shoots. Practise effective communication and sharing amongst teams for further amplification of content.
* Identify and brief content creators when necessary for the creation of compelling social content.
* Support sales channels by strategizing and executing bespoke social media campaigns to achieve their business objectives, with particular emphasis on QVC, Spa & Salon and Retail teams.
* Produce monthly reports for leadership, with clear actionable takeaways and recommendations for growth, as well as campaign wrap-ups.
* Share social media trends, best practices, platform updates and competitor activity cross-functionally.
Team
* Manage and develop the Social Media Assistant and work closely on briefing the Social Digital Designer with owned social creative requirements.
* Work collaboratively with the Head of Social Content on social media projects, as and when required.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* 4 years’+ experience.
* Experienced at using social media scheduling, community management and analytics tools, such as Emplifi and Dash Hudson.
* Track record of results driven, effective social media campaigns and content creation.
* Strong level of creative writing skills essential with a high level of attention to detail.
* Advanced knowledge and daily use of key social media.
* Highly numerate and versed in reporting analytics.
* Genuine interest in the beauty and skincare industry.
* Enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational, communication and writing skills.
