Part-time, Fixed-Term (12 months)
£40.70 per hour (£45.61 ph incl Holiday Pay)
We are looking to appoint a number of experienced and passionate lecturers who specialise in tuition in one of the following:
1. Musical Theatre
2. Acting
3. Production
You will teach students as part of the Junior Conservatoire School of Stage and Screen. Each course runs weekly from August to June for highly motivated and driven young people, aged 7 – 18 years, keen to further their skills in their specialist area.
We are The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s Junior Conservatoire, committed to widening access and opportunities for children and young people across Scotland, implementing successful initiatives aimed at increasing participation by young people from under-represented groups.
You are highly motivated, dynamic, and someone who thrives in a demanding, intense yet passionate educational environment.
You must have relevant professional experience as a performer and teacher, excellent communication skills, and be passionate about developing young people’s potential, along with knowledge and experience of arts education.
This post will involve approx 34 weeks of teaching days/weekends in each academic session.
