Job Description
We are now recruiting for a highly motivated and organised Resource Coordinator to join our Resourcing team. As a Resource Coordinator, you will be responsible for effectively organising and scheduling technical consultants' diaries in order to effectively deliver our various projects. This is a fast-paced, ever-changing role and you will essentially be the glue that pulls the projects together. To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly organised, pro-active, a quick thinker, and personable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working closely with key stakeholders to find the right resourcing solution for our customers and the company;
2. Pro-actively manage Technical Consultant schedules to ensure utilisation is high and bench time is limited;
3. Ensure that consultants are not overly utilised, recognising the importance of duty of care;
4. Coordination and allocation of resources to projects according to project plans, resource availability, and skill set;
5. Management of Jira project management tool and resourcing tickets;
6. Escalate resource constraints or a skills shortfall to the Resourcing Manager;
7. Assist with and maintain the skills matrix to ensure it is accurate at all times;
8. Conduct and manage weekly Project Management resource meetings;
9. Ensure new customers and projects are set up on all relevant systems;
10. Ensure the correct Sales governance is followed and commercial coverage is in place;
11. Assist with checking and approving timesheets for all Professional Services resources;
12. Administration of approved annual leave;
13. Assist with month-end reporting, ensuring all bookings are correctly entered onto the Resourcing system;
14. Support other areas of the resourcing team, including other administration duties as and when required.
Qualifications Skills & Experience:
1. Demonstrable experience of a similar role within a Professional Services Project environment;
2. Previous experience within a resourcing role would be preferable;
3. Solid planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work;
4. Ability to carry out tasks to a high standard with a strong eye for attention to detail;
5. Robust and clear approach, with the confidence to challenge, offer opinion and push back when required;
6. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively articulate an opinion with both internal and external stakeholders through a variety of different mediums;
7. Demonstrates creative thinking and problem-solving skills but knows when to escalate;
8. Team Player understands the importance of individual as well as team contribution.
