Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Key Responsibilities:
1. Purchase ledger invoice and payment processing
2. Setting up new supplier accounts and credit checking
3. Sales ledger invoice generation and receipt processing
4. Credit control and customer queries
5. General accounts work including bank reconciliations and inter-company account reconciliations, preparation of CIS Returns, preparation of payroll journals, assisting the cost accountant
6. Preparation of monthly management accounts on SAGE 50 including preparation of accruals and prepayments
Person Specification
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
1. Experience of management account preparation
2. Experience of using SAGE 50 accounts
3. Strong MS Office skills, with Advanced Excel
4. Good verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications:
1. Keen attention to detail
2. Well organised & self-motivated individual
3. Adaptable and flexible
Experience:
Mix of SME and large company experience
