Ensure that safety and environmental incidents are fully investigated and the appropriate countermeasures established. Assist with inventory management plans. Drive stock accuracy and ensure cycle count are carried out in line with process. Control incoming and outgoing raw materials and inter org transfers. Ensure accurate transfer of raw materials in Oracle to maintain a clean system. Participating in the investigation of quality incidents and track action completion. To ensure that the goods in employees are adequately trained to carry out their duties in a safe and satisfactory manner Ensure resources are deployed appropriately to ensure objectives are achieved. Ensure daily tanker reading and Big bag checks are completed to plan. Manage performance within the team using the Bolton policies and procedures to achieve optimal efficiency and operational performance. Ensure that Operatives are actively involved in standard work improvement initiatives leading 5s within area. Ensure effective two-way communication with the team, participate in daily and other routine meetings as required. Liaise with other personnel and departments to ensure the smooth running of the goods in operation. Perform fire warden responsibility. Ensure racking inspections are carried out. Ensure stock rooms are kept clean in the Oracle system. Ensure timely receipt of goods ensuring samples and information to QC is immediate. To ensuring correct labelling of goods in line with safety and quality standards. To ensure accurate location of raw materials in a safe effective manner. To liaise with purchasing on incoming deliveries to ensure correct levels are maintained. To lead raw material inventory checks. Ensure safety of team by effective control of incoming vehicles. Carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the supply chain manager.
