Our client are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and demonstrate proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
Payroll; Bank Reconciliations; Purchase and Sales Ledger; Credit Control; CIS & VAT Returns; CITB Levy; Month and Year End.
Supporting the Contracts Managers with invoicing and payment certificates.
Skills & Experience:
Must have construction industry experience
Must have excellent SAGE 50 with payroll and CIS modules
Excellent PC skills; in particular MS Office; excellent organisational skills and good attention to detail
Expected hours – 25 – 30 per week
