Our team manage the relationship and delivery of third-party services to Economic Crime. As a Supplier Cost Manager, you'll be responsible for managing performance and conduct of our suppliers, ensuring adherence to contracted Service Level Agreements whilst identifying opportunities to increase value to the Society. You will also be required to provide support directly to Named Role Holders across both Financial Crime and Fraud, participate in governance activity across full the supplier panel, and translate SME requirements into actionable requests for our suppliers. The goal of the team is to ensure robust oversight of our outsourced activity and to ensure we have a supplier panel which has the capability, capacity, and operational resilience to support all of our outsourcing needs in both technology and operations. What you'll be doing Working alongside another Supplier Performance Manager you will represent Economic Crime directly to our suppliers - alongside the Relationship Owner - conducting regular performance reviews, as well as at internal forums with senior leaders. You will play an active role in shaping future strategy, with a particular focus on how our third-party relationships help us to protect our members and the Society whilst also being responsible for tracking monthly SLA's, ongoing change, and managing stakeholder expectations. In this role you will have responsibility for documenting Supplier Exit Plans for high risk and critical Operational supplier relationships, working closely with the central controls teams, Compliance, Third Party Risk, Specialist Risk Functions and Audit teams to facilitate their broader independent reviews of suppliers where required. Whilst managing our suppliers to improve supplier performance and continually evolve supplier services, you'll also co-ordinate and conduct regular governance sessions with third parties, in support of the Relationship Owner or Senior Relationship Owner. You will oversee nominated vendors to ensure they are meeting regulatory obligations whilst monitoring financial, operational and contractual performance against contract terms. You'll also take a commercial view which ensures that services continue to represent good value for money for the Society and its members, working closely with Procurement to provide actionable recommendations. You will take a leading role in the team's accountability for accuracy of contract and supplier data, complying with all NBS policies, and delivering against statutory, regulatory, supervisory and legal obligations. About you Must have experience of managing third parties including managing supplier relationships and contracts. Experience in analysing commercial performance vs service / operational performance and providing actionable insight. Experienced in identifying trends that lead to both risks and opportunities and the ability to track them on an ongoing basis. Must have recent experience of building effective relationships and strong stakeholder management. You will have excellent organisational skills, pro-active with the ability to manage your workload and priorities. Must be comfortable presenting to audiences of all levels, both internal and external. You will have experience in analysing commercials to support financial management including both cost modelling and financial reconciliation.
