Our client is an established law firm who have recently set up new offices in Milton Keynes. Experts in Conveyancing, including mortgage and transfer of equity, the firm is rapidly expanding.
Working as part of the New Business team, we are currently hiring experienced Paralegals where you will be providing administrative assistance.
Responsibilities:
1. Carry out research and prepare legal documents
2. Manage confidential data and client information
3. Prepare reports based on case specifications
4. Conduct interviews with clients and provide them with legal information
5. Liaise frequently with 3rd parties such as mortgage lenders
6. Assist clients in supplying identity documents
7. Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and submit reports on pertinent changes
8. Attend department meetings and training sessions as required
Criteria:
1. Previous experience as a paralegal
2. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
3. Previous experience supporting a large team
4. A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
