As the Conference Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing a digital and offline marketing strategy to support our events business. You will work with the Global Head of Conference Marketing and other key stakeholders to generate interest, engagement, and marketing leads through offline, online, and social channels, including capturing data and obtaining new prospects for our market-leading conferences. You'll work on a portfolio with a strong brand presence, including established events and new launches in growth markets. This position offers opportunities for travel and professional growth in a fast-growing company. What will you be doing? Implement and project-manage high-caliber, coordinated marketing campaigns for 4-6 conferences a year. Execute multi-channel and multi-lingual campaigns to drive delegate acquisition and support sponsorship sales acquisition. Utilize digital and non-digital channels, including email, social media, telesales, search and SEO, and content marketing, in collaboration with digital marketing specialists. Devise, implement, and manage strategies to increase conversion of prospects and return of attendees. Work closely with internal teams to coordinate event marketing deliverables. Build and execute email and social campaigns. Update and optimize the conference website layout and navigation. Identify marketing partners, cultivate relationships, and agree on mutually beneficial deals. Produce mid and post-campaign reports using analytics tools to track performance and recommend improvements. Monitor data quality, build and manage databases, keeping data up to date, targeted, and relevant for each event campaign. Manage and control the marketing budget for each campaign. Balance multiple priorities and update stakeholders on progress and expected delivery. Skills and Experience Prior events marketing experience is desirable. Effective collaboration with other brands/teams and embracing new ideas, systems, projects, or processes. Confident decision-maker with the ability to assess opportunities and risks. Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Sprinkler, LinkedIn, Twitter, CMS systems, Canva, basic Photoshop, and HTML creation is desirable. Working knowledge of Excel and Google Analytics. Experience in the commercialization of events, including launch events. Ability to work closely with sales and align marketing strategy to commercial objectives. Willingness to develop knowledge in marketing and the industries we serve. Experience in digital marketing techniques and channels. Data-driven approach to strategic and tactical decision-making. Proven record of testing, measuring, and evaluating marketing channels to optimize spend and demonstrate ROI.
