We are currently working with an Insurance Broker, who has a great opportunity available to join them as a New Business Account Handler, dealing with commercial clients. This broker prides themselves on providing a first-class working environment and is extremely proud of the culture they have, where everyone is looked after and supported.
They feel they can offer excellent work-life balance, coupled with genuine career progression opportunities. This broker has some exciting growth plans too and wants you to come on this journey with them!
They specialize in providing insurance to youth/charity groups, such as the Scouts and Girl Guides, as well as helping a wide range of other charity/not-for-profit organizations, so this charity-based spirit runs through this organization, making them a highly ethical and honest employer.
They are looking to speak to you if you have either 12 months of insurance experience in a new business-focused role, whether that be in broking or at an insurer, in Commercial Lines, or are a considered sales professional who has experience perhaps in financial services or similar.
The New Business Account Handler is a telephone-based insurance business development role, focused 100% on acquiring new business to help accelerate sales growth from core charity markets.
Your role will therefore be to act as a New Business contact for prospects and existing clients, comprising small/medium-sized charities up to a premium level of £5000 for their insurance requirements.
You will be joining an existing team of friendly and experienced insurance professionals who really do get on and care about the company they work for.

So what can you expect in return? In short, we think a pretty good package!

You will have access to a medical scheme to help you with the cost of your everyday healthcare, fully funded by them, such as optical, dental, and many more. You will also get access to a gym discount, family days out discount, and online health risk assessment.
There is also a generous pension scheme on offer. This plan allows employees to contribute a minimum of 2% of their gross salary up to the maximum allowed within HMRC limits. The company will contribute twice your contribution, up to a maximum of 10%!
There is also free car parking on site for all employees.
