Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
* Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
* Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities to access the curriculum
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive learning environment
* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
Minimum Requirements
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Certification or training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN preferred
Skills and Qualifications
* Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support students with SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
* Higher education qualification in Education, Psychology, or related field
* Additional training in behaviour management or speech and language therapy
Working Conditions
* Work in a school setting with regular classroom hours
* May involve physical activity, such as assisting students with mobility
