Job Title: Mechatronic Engineer (Field Service) Description: We are hiring for our client, a dynamic company based in Craigavon, seeking a skilled Mechatronic Engineer to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be involved in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and supporting the commissioning of systems on customer sites, among other duties. Dynamic Work Environment : Opportunity to work with Schneider control systems and PLCs. The Role: Perform on-site mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving. Assist with the commissioning of systems at customer sites. Provide post-implementation customer support and troubleshooting. Participate in the manufacturing of harvesting systems at company premises. Build control panels and wire machines as needed. Utilize Schneider control systems and PLCs. Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and team members. Read and interpret detailed electrical and engineering drawings. Demonstrate engineering expertise to improve products and services. Engage in research and development projects, both in-office and hands-on. Collaborate with the design team in R&D to refine and improve the product range. The Person: BSc in Mechatronics Engineering or a similar field. Minimum of 5 years post-qualification engineering experience. Proficiency in reading detailed electrical and engineering drawings. Strong mechanical and electronic/electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience in building, commissioning, and advancing product development. Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in changing situations. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
