Job Title: Quality Systems Co-ordinator
Reports to: Multi-Site Quality Manager – Scotland
Job Purpose
Working within a fast-paced environment the job holder will work with the Quality Manager in running the day-to-day tasks within the quality function. The job holder will ensure that all products conform to agreed functionality and quality standards whilst meeting the requirements of the accredited management systems (e.g. ISO9001, BRC-GS).
Role Responsibilities
1. Creating and updating various reports – daily/weekly/monthly
2. Provide data to Quality Manager/Site leader
3. Respond to customer and supplier day-to-day queries
4. Supporting customer audits as requested
5. Document control management via Q-Pulse
6. Working with the Management and Customer Services team
7. Progress chasing – CAPA’s, OFI’s
8. Investigation of customer queries and non-conformances
9. Decisions on quality with support from the Quality Manager
10. Ensure audit actions are completed and uploaded to Q-Pulse
11. Actively support the site’s Continuous Improvement activities
12. Manage the Internal-Notification system, escalating any overdue actions to the management team
13. Support the management of the Internal Calibration system with the QA Engineer
14. Support the Quality Engineer with Internal and External auditing
15. Support general EHS administration activities when required
Quality System
1. All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and BRC-GS quality management standard requirements with reference to the site's Quality Policy, Policy Manual & relevant Works Instructions.
2. Work with the Quality Manager and Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that all aspects of the accredited standards are integrated into the Quality system.
