The role: We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join our Bristol based HR department, supporting the partner resourcing team in the recruitment of partners (the most senior fee earners within the firm) across the network in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the US. You’ll be involved in providing administrative assistance throughout the recruitment cycle from beginning to end. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly and supportive resourcing team. The role will suit someone bright and enthusiastic with excellent organisation skills looking for their first step on the recruitment career ladder, or someone with some pre-existing recruitment experience (in-house or agency) looking to make a move. What will you do: Liaising with agents regarding information on candidates. Arranging interviews and proactively seeking/providing feedback. Tracking candidates’ progression through our lateral hiring process. Document management - Co-ordinating with partners in relation to collating key documents for meetings. Assisting with the preparation of offer letters and enclosures. Dealing with and tracking invoices. Day to day co-ordination of the pre-employment screening process, liaising with our outsourced suppliers. Administration of HR systems in relation to prospective and new partner joiners. Updating and maintaining spreadsheets containing pertinent information in relation to partner hires. Liaising with partners and HR managers in other jurisdictions regarding partner onboarding and integration. You will also be part of the wider HR Operations team, and will contribute to the provision of day to day operational support to the UK and International HR teams. This will involve tasks such a administration of all HR systems including: leavers/joiners, absence management system, online performance management system, referencing system, and recruitment application system. What we are looking for: Proficient IT skills in Outlook, Microsoft word and Excel. Effective written and oral communication skills with senior level people. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Pro-active, can do approach, happy to work without ‘micro management’. Ability to manage and adapt to competing priorities.
