Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will support the Engineering, Production and Quality departments respectively, depending on the business requirements to improve departments efficiency.
Responsibilities :
Quality
* Assist the General Manager with sustaining quality management system.
* Perform NCR, CCN, SCAR investigations and report findings.
* Organise/undertake the inspection of goods in and populate reports in line with received condition.
* Undertake inspection of product, generation of quality reports and approve release to despatch.
* Promote and deploy a policy of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
* Calibrate plant measuring and test equipment, both internally and by external vendor.
* Perform NDT inspections on products when required.
Engineering
* Assist the Process Engineer in producing quotations using the ERP system.
* Assist the Process Engineer in producing route cards.
* Identify improvements in machining operations to increase speed and efficiency, driving down costs.
* Assist with performing critical dimension gathering for reverse engineering.
Production
* Conventional and CNC milling & turning to produce high precision parts to customer specifications and technical drawings.
* Carry out the machining in accordance with the components route card and technical drawing.
* Assist with fitting duties as and when required (deburring / shotblasting / assemblies / grinding etc.).
* Provide training to new employees.
Overall
* Perform all duties to OEL standards and procedures.
* Comply to HSE regulations and OEL internal procedures.
* Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills, Education, Training and Experience:
* Qualified with an Engineering Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience).
* Ability to read, interpret and communicate technical drawings is essential.
* Previous experience with operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is essential.
* Competent with the use of external and internal micrometres is essential.
* Previous manual milling and turning experience is essential.
* Manual Handling Training and overhead crane experience is essential.
* Previous experience in Non-Destructive Testing; ultrasonic and dye penetrant examinations is preferred.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
* Motivated and conscientious individual with a methodical, systematic approach.
* Must have proven team-working skills.
