Overview:
Take on a pivotal role supporting advanced systems and equipment. This position requires technical expertise, collaboration, and a customer-focused approach to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of critical technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fulfill in-service support commitments by collaborating with project teams, customers, and end-users.
* Respond proactively to technical issues, customer fault reports, and queries.
* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults remotely and on-site when required.
* Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analyses, and suggest improvements.
* Implement inspection and preventative maintenance programs.
* Ensure equipment remains safe and operational.
* Conduct defect investigations, surveys, and testing in collaboration with the field support team.
* Maintain Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation and process change requests.
* Identify resource conflicts and support engineering management in resolving them.
* Adhere to and promote engineering best practices for continuous improvement.
* Support obsolescence strategies for relevant product lines.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience in any phase of the engineering lifecycle, with a preference for familiarity with technical equipment.
* Strong diagnostic skills for systems and equipment.
* Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and perform under challenging conditions.
* Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage tasks effectively, maintain high-quality standards, and communicate clearly.
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel occasionally.
