Role Summary
Working as part of a lively team, the role involves the reconciliation and payment of customer holiday bookings to suppliers.
Key areas involve reconciling supplier statements, ensuring that targets and deadlines are met in line with supplier commercial agreements, and resolving queries to a high standard while meeting KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
* Reconciliation and payment of supplier statements for allocated suppliers
* Investigate statement queries by liaising with tour operators, branches, and head office teams
* Allocate payments made in all finance systems
* Assist with the completion of internal reporting
* Gain a full understanding of the different trading divisions within the group and their working practices
* Adhere to company service standards
* Data Security – Ensure all personal and business data is kept secure at all times and report any data breaches immediately
Competencies Required
* Excellent communication skills, high standard of literacy, and email etiquette
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
* Good numerical and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to deliver work to meet tight deadlines
Technical Skills Required
* Competent use of Hays Travel reconciliation systems and selling systems (full training will be given)
Qualifications / Experience Required
* Experience of working with large volumes of data accurately
* Experience in customer service and resolving queries effectively
* Experience in Travel Finance
* Previous experience in data reconciliation
