We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Educator to join our team in providing high-quality education and care for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong leadership skills, and be passionate about early childhood education.
Duties include:
* To understand, embrace and reflect, in all aspects of your role, the ethos of Nannas Day Nurseries.
* Drive the implementation of educational programmes.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Provide childcare and support children's learning and development.
* Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
* To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for the children within the nursery setting.
* To implement the policies and procedures of the company.
* To operate a programme of activities suitable for the individual needs of your key children.
* To work in partnership with the parents/carers, nursery SENCO and external agencies in supporting children with SEN.
* To support fellow practitioners and be an active participant in creating a good team.
* To adhere to the policies of Nannas Day Nurseries at all times (including Safeguarding Children, Social Networking, Confidentiality, Information Sharing and Code of Conduct).
* To positively promote the Company's high profile both in and outside of the setting.
Information about the School
Nannas Day Nurseries have three sites in Colchester, Essex serving local and wider communities, accessible to all with 20 years experience of providing outstanding childcare for children and their families. Open Monday to Friday, 6.30am until 6.30pm, the nurseries provide exceptional environments for children who learn through educational, stimulating, exciting, innovative, natural and homemade activities both in and outdoors. Caring for children from birth to 8 years old in specially allocated rooms with trained and experienced staff.
