Job summary We require a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as a staff nurse on the Haematology and Young Oncology Day unit services at the Christie Hospital in Manchester. This role includes providing a high standard of care for patients with haematological malignancies, lymphoma and teenage oncology patients attending the day care unit, working within a recognised framework in accordance with NMC Code of Professional Conduct, The Christie Policies and Health and Safety Legislation. We require a nurse who is eager to learn new skills, such as cannulation. Venepuncture, Chemotherapy giving, providing support to all our patients, and continued learning and development through the role to enhance patient care. Working hours - Monday to Friday open hours 8-6 Main duties of the job This role will enhance IV skills and chemotherapy administration both infusion and bolus and will require nursing patients with complex needs and supportive requirements.
