Purpose of the role Continually strive for customer excellence and support Camiras vision by maintaining accurate product technical specifications and certification for the business. To build and maintain relationships with external test houses and internal customers. To support the business with a technical governance process in order to achieve product compliance. The day to day To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements Maintain accurate technical specifications and marketing materials for both contract and transport sectors, ensuring up-to-date information on the Camira website. Manage the internal helpdesk system to define testing needs, provide regular updates, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Prioritise tasks based on business and customer requirements. Oversee external testing and certification updates, minimising costs and lead times. Review test reports, raise non-conformances, and ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete technical governance documents (e.g., PPAPs, certificates, reports), and maintain document control. Advise on testing standards, product performance, QA procedures, and certification bodies like Oeko-Tex and Mbelfakta. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring products are tested and compliant prior to launch. Reassess launched products for ongoing compliance. Identify and resolve potential product compliance issues in line with quality policies, managing stakeholder expectations effectively. Promote cross-functional teamwork and communication to avoid silos. Support daily lab operations, maintain focus on customer satisfaction and continuous quality improvement. Embrace a proactive, accountable approach to problem solving.
