Working Hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday - Can be flexible between 8am and 6pm
Worker Type: Onsite Worker, although with some opportunities for home working
Salary: Grade F - Starting Salary is £31,586 (Level one) rising to £34,314 (Level four)

About the Role
To ensure the delivery of appropriate services to safeguard Nottingham on Call vulnerable adults and their families, according to their assessed needs. This includes undertaking all levels of assessments and referrals, advice and information, and delivery and installation of assistive technology equipment. The Community Care Officer is expected to work independently, under the general direction of the Development Manager, and to provide support and advice to colleagues.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience working with adults in a social care/health/voluntary sector setting.
2. Experience of working with adults experiencing a range of difficulties relating to learning disability, mental health, substance misuse and physical health problems.
3. The ability to undertake adult-focused assistive technology assessments in relation to the needs of adults and their carers within a person-centred approach.
4. Ability to maintain clear and accurate records and to provide effective evidence regarding decision making.
5. To manage and prioritise a caseload and to work autonomously.
6. To establish effective working relationships with colleagues within the team and from other agencies.
