Join our finance team at Behaviour Interactive as a Senior Accountant and Payroll Specialist, where you'll play a key role in managing accounts payable and overseeing payroll for our UK and Rotterdam offices. Beyond these core responsibilities, you'll dive into a variety of exciting tasks within our finance department, ensuring every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth.
In this role, you will:
1. Manage the full accounts payable cycle including: invoice coding, manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders, verify expense reports, data entry into accounting system and issue payments.
2. Prepare and manage the payroll for both entities, produce payroll journal entries and various month-end reports, reconcile all discrepancies.
3. Prepare the bank reconciliation and month-end journal entries (prepaids, depreciation, accruals).
4. Prepare and submit the VAT reports to UK and Netherlands governments.
5. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and respected.
6. Provide administrative support to the finance and other departments.
7. Provide all the documents for the year-end audit of the head quarter in Canada.
What we're looking for:
1. College diploma in accounting or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in accounting or similar roles within a medium or large company.
3. Good knowledge of accounting rules in UK.
4. Strong knowledge of computer tools, especially Excel.
5. Good organizational and work management skills.
6. Fluency in English.
7. Nice to have:
8. Knowledge of IFRS will be considered an important asset.
9. Good knowledge of accounting rules in Netherlands.
10. Experience with ERP F&O Microsoft will be considered an important asset.
11. Dutch language skills is a plus.
