OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
As our new Business Development Director, you will thrive on building high-performing teams and driving exceptional revenue growth, passionate about creating a seamless customer experience from lead generation to solution implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead and manage the sales, marketing, and solutions teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue generation strategy aligned with overall business goals.
* Set ambitious and achievable sales targets and quotas and hold teams accountable for exceeding them.
* Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure efficient lead qualification and conversion processes.
* Drive marketing initiatives that generate high-quality leads and effectively communicate our value proposition to target audiences.
* Manage the solutions team to ensure successful solution implementation and maximise customer satisfaction.
* Analyse market trends and identify new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
* Foster strong relationships with key partners and direct/indirect accounts.
* Develop and maintain a robust revenue technology stack to optimise performance across all revenue-generating functions.
* Regularly review and refine sales, marketing, and solutions processes to ensure continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to create a customer-centric culture and deliver a superior customer experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven track record of success in leading and growing revenue-generating teams in a B2B environment.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, ideally as a CRO, VP of Sales, or VP of Marketing.
* Deep understanding of the sales cycle, technology advances using AI, marketing automation, and solutions implementation processes.
* Advanced technical experience with Salesforce and similar business productivity tools
* Business Degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* A collaborative and results-oriented approach with a focus on exceeding goals.
